Sessions, Dates & Rates

Early Registration for returning families opens August 15. We welcome new camp families to submit 2025 registration now and we will begin accepting those applications on a first come, first served basis after October 15.

We’ve been creating unforgettable summers since 1927! Our award-winning all-girls camp experience in a historic setting alongside a fresh mountain river, combined with a limited enrollment, sets us apart from other camps.  Learn about our guiding philosophy and traditions, which have served as the hallmark of Camp Mont Shenandoah for nearly a century.

Camp Mont Shenandoah offers a six-week session, two three-week sessions, and a one-week introductory session called Roots & Shoots. The three and six-week sessions are for girls ages 7-16. Roots & Shoots is for girls ages 7-13.

2025 Sessions

  • Six-week session: June 21 – August 2, 2025
  • First three-week session: June 21 – July 12, 2025
  • Second three-week session: July 13 – August 2, 2025
  • One-week introductory session: August 3 – 9, 2025

2025 Rates

  • Tuition for our full six-week session is $10,400
  • Tuition for a half-session (three-week campers) is $5975
  • Tuition for the one-week introductory session (Roots & Shoots) is $2095

Tuition covers most extras, including trips, laundry, and all activity costs. Tuition does not cover riding fees, transportation to and from camp, medical expenses, camp uniform, and charges at the camp store. A 5% discount is applied to the tuition of any sister of a registered camper.

2024 Horseback Riding Fees

Six-Week Campers
  • 15 hours (every other day for one period): $850
  • 30 hours (every day for one period): $1,600
Three-Week Campers
  • 8 hours (every other day for one period): $425
  • 15 hours (every day for one period): $800
One-Week Campers (Roots & Shoots)
  • Twice/week: $110
  • Four times/week: $220

Note: Riders are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis. The riding tuition is due with the camp tuition on March 15, 2024 or within one month of registration after March 1, 2024.
